TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RESERVATION AT THE RIDING CENTRE “SKRĘT”. – terms and conditions.

Booking rules

§ 1

A hotel day starts at 6 p.m. and ends at 3 p.m. In high season and at weekends we do not rent rooms, cottages by the hour, for single nights or without board. We invite you to camps on Saturdays from 4 pm. The end of the stay is by 12 o’clock on Saturday.
Due to frequent early arrivals, we would like to inform you that if you arrive before the set time, you will be charged an additional fee of PLN 150 per person, which includes a possible lunch at 2 pm. Of course, the rooms will be available from the originally agreed time – we have to prepare them anyway :).

§ 2

Reservations can be made by e-mail or in person at the Centre, with the reservation that the reservation is not effective until you have paid the deposit and the reservation has been confirmed (also verbally) by “SKRĘT” Riding Centre.

§ 3

Payment of the deposit is tantamount to acceptance of the rules and regulations and confirmation of the conclusion of a commercial contract for provision of tourist services. By booking your stay you enter into a direct (legally binding) contractual relationship with our company. The legal basis binding the parties is the Act on Tourist Services.

§ 4

Confirmation of your booking is payment of a deposit of at least 20% of the price of your stay, but no less than the price of a two-night stay, within an agreed period of no more than 7 days from the date of registration on the list of participants.

§ 5

The deposit shall be paid to: Ośrodek Jeździecki “SKRĘT” – Marek Garlicki, Iwiec 126, 89-512 Iwiec

2. To the account number provided by the organiser:

   Deposit entitled: RESERVATION NUMBER ONLY,
3. By postal order.

§ 6

Failure to receive the deposit within the agreed period means cancellation of the reservation and results in automatic cancellation from the reservation system and recognition that the contract for provision of tourist services has not been concluded between the parties.

§ 7

The payment for the ordered tourist services, minus the value of the deposit, shall be made at the latest on the day of arrival at the Centre in cash or by bank transfer to the bank account (in this case, please show a copy of the bank transfer made on the day of arrival).

§ 8

Failure to confirm full payment of due remuneration no later than on the day of arrival at the stay entitles the Centre to immediately withdraw from the contract and withhold the services which are the subject of the contract for provision of tourist services.

Rules for cancellation of reservation

§ 9

Our Guests may cancel their reservation or stay at any time, but in any case, in accordance with Article 394 of the Civil Code, the deposit paid shall be forfeited – it is a non-refundable amount. The deposit may also be forfeited if you fail to make full payment without arrangements on the day of arrival and the Resort exercises its right to immediately withdraw from the contract.

§ 10

If you withdraw from the contract less than one month after the planned stay, the Centre has the right to claim an amount equal to the lost income in the amount of the full remuneration due for the booking period – and according to the Tax Office’s calculation, this amount is 80% of the total amount. In case of cancellation of the contract after the start date of the planned stay through no fault of the organiser, the Centre has the right to claim the full amount of the stay.

§ 11

The cancellation of a reservation under the conditions stated above should be made in writing (by registered letter or e-mail).

Stay in “SKRĘT” Riding Centre

§ 12

Handing over to you and returning to you after your stay the rooms and the holiday cottage takes place in the presence of an employee of the Centre. Please report any comments and objections relevant to the proper execution of the contract binding the parties without delay in order to resolve them on the spot. Objections which may affect the change of the contractual conditions binding the parties shall be notified in writing, by fax or e-mail.

§ 13

We offer you rooms and family houses with several beds. A detailed description of our accommodation can be found at www.hobbithouse.pl. The stay of additional persons is subject to agreement. Extra so-called “extra beds” are only available on request and must be confirmed by the resort.

§ 14

Please report any damage caused during your stay. Please report any damage caused during your stay without delay and settle on the spot.

§ 15

Please leave the rooms and the cottages in a proper order. If the cottage is not cleaned, a one-time fee of 50 PLN will be charged.

§ 16

We charge an additional fee for changing the bed linen on request in the amount of 10 PLN/pl. x person.

§ 17

The main house and the cottages are insured and the Centre is a closed and supervised area. The Centre is not responsible for valuables and money left in rooms and cottages, except for claims covered by the insurer.

§ 18

We ask you to respect the quiet of the night from 10 pm to 7 am and to respect the peace and quiet of others, also during the day. We especially ask you not to force others to listen to their own radios :).

§ 19

Only persons registered here are allowed to stay in the Centre. We ask you to report invited guests from outside when they enter the Centre and when they leave. All non-registered guests are requested to leave the Centre by 22:00 at the latest. Staying more than 2 hours or not leaving the campsite by 22:00 requires registration and payment according to the price list. Guests who are not registered are not entitled to use the sanitary facilities and the car park.

§ 20

We do not provide spaces for parking a car near an occupied cottage or tent. Please park only in the parking spaces designated for this purpose outside the green area. In individual cases, when a vehicle is parked on the green area, a fee will be charged per trip according to the price list.

§ 21

The car park is unguarded, although under continuous surveillance of surveillance cameras – in recording mode.

§ 22

During the holiday season, there is no horse riding for those staying on agritourism stays.

§ 23

Your pets are welcome with us. However, we ask that you have an up-to-date vaccination booklet for your pet, that you clean up litter on the premises and that you only walk your pet on a leash.

§ 24

Smoking is strictly prohibited both in the house and in the cottages. If smoking is detected, a cleaning charge of PLN 200 will be added.

§ 25

Please do not litter the area with cigarette butts and keep the Centre premises tidy. Please take your separate rubbish (paper, plastic and glass) with you, as our local authorities make it very difficult to dispose of it. Mixed rubbish is to be left in marked bins on the premises of the Centre.

§ 26

Other rules concerning the provision of tourist services and rules concerning participants in horse riding camps and horse riding stays for both young people and adults.

1. Participants are accommodated in the premises of the “SKRĘT” Equestrian Centre.
2. Participants are obliged to: a) take care of their own and the Centre’s good name, b) follow the daily schedule, c) follow the instructions of tutors and riding instructors, d) maintain personal hygiene, neatness of appearance and cleanliness in the facility, and respect for property, e) follow the rules of movement in the Centre’s premises, f) follow fire and safety regulations and the rules of the stable.
3. At the request of parents (guardians) or the participants themselves – they are not required to participate in daily work in the stable, such as feeding the horses, taking them out to pasture, additional training in horse building, riding equipment and veterinary training – all activities are voluntary.
4. The instructor, for the sake of the health and safety of the participants, may interrupt or cancel the ride if weather conditions are considered dire (downpours, gales, extreme heat, storms, etc.) . In this case, the ride will be forfeited.
5. Instead of cancelling the ride, the staff may schedule it for early morning or evening hours (before breakfast and after dinner). In this case, participants are required to set their own alarm clocks and (AS EVERYDAY) turn up at the stables themselves. Absence is regarded as a resignation and the ride is irretrievably forfeited – it is not possible to complete it at a later date.
6. Unauthorised departure of under-age participants from their minders, leaving the Centre, indiscipline, failure to follow the instructions of tutors and riding instructors, failure to observe the rules will be punished with a warning or immediate sending of the participant home at the expense of parents or legal guardians. In such cases, parents (guardians) are obliged to report within 24 hours of being notified to collect the participant who has been expelled from the camp.
7. It is forbidden for underage participants to possess, keep, distribute or use any kind of intoxicants, tobacco products or alcohol. Consequences: as in para. 6 without warning.
8. During horse classes, if a rider fails to comply with the rules or the instructor’s instructions, that person will be removed from the ride. In case of weather that may affect the safety of the ride, the instructor may interrupt or cancel the ride.

§ 27

AUTHORISATIONS

1. Payment of the deposit for your stay constitutes your consent to the processing of your personal data to the extent necessary for the safe conduct of your stay at SKRĘT Riding Centre (in accordance with the Act on Personal Data Protection. Journal of Laws No. 133, item 833 of 29.08.1997).
2. Payment of the deposit for the stay is confirmation on my own behalf and on behalf of the persons I register for the tourist event that they have familiarised themselves with the programme of the event and the above-mentioned Regulations, which constitute an integral part of the contract.
3. Payment of the deposit for the stay constitutes agreement that the administrator of the Client’s and Participant’s personal data is Ośrodek Jeździecki “SKRĘT” – Marek Garlicki. The personal data of the Customer and the Participant are processed by the organiser in order to sell and provide the services offered by Ośrodek Jeździecki “SKRĘT”. The personal data of the Customer and the Participant will be made available to the insurance company in the scope necessary to cover the Participant with insurance for the duration of the horse-riding camp in the Centre. The Customer has the right to access the content of his/her personal data and to correct it.
4. The payment of the deposit for the stay constitutes the Customer’s consent on his/her own behalf and as the legal representative of the Participant to the processing of the Customer’s and the Participant’s personal data to the extent necessary for the preparation of the photo report and video footage of the stay, as well as to the making available of the image recorded in this way on the website www.skret.eu and on social networking sites such as facebook.
5. The above-mentioned consents are voluntary, but failure to give them makes it impossible to conclude and perform the contract for provision of tourist services.

   
   § 28

   Pursuant to the general insurance agreement concluded between Ośrodek Jeździeckie “SKRĘT” and PZU company, each participant of the stay is covered by OC, NW, NNW and instructor’s insurance, as well as pursuant to the agreement concluded with UNIQA company, we hold Insurance Guarantee Certificate No. 02.855.212, whose beneficiary is the Marshall of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodship.

§ 29

Handing over the rooms and the chalet to you and handing them over after the stay takes place in the presence of an employee of the Centre. Please report any comments and objections relevant to the proper performance of the contract binding the parties without delay in order to resolve them on site. Objections which may affect the change of the contractual conditions binding the parties shall be notified in writing, by fax or e-mail.

§ 30

Any disputes requiring judicial resolution shall be settled by the court having jurisdiction over the registered office of Ośrodek Jeździecki “SKRĘT” – District Court in Tuchola.
